Wednesday 22nd February: Ash Wednesday

Ash Wednesday is the beginning of Lent for Western Christian Churches. It's a day of penitence to clean the soul before the Lent fast. In Ash Wednesday services church goers are marked on the forehead with a cross of ashes as a sign of pentience and mortality. Come along this ash Wednesday, either 10:00am or 7:30pm mass and receive your lenten cross. "Remember that you are dust and dust you shall return"
