The First Holy Communion children have been participating in the parish-based programme Novena in honour of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal: takes place each Monday evening at 7:30pm. Why not make a special effort this month of may to attend the novena.
“May is Our Lady’s month with all its lovely days. This May you are invited to honour Our Lady in a special way by erecting a May altar. May is a special time in the church calendar when Catholics honour Mary, the mother of Jesus. The month of May is a time to look forward to better weather and enjoy the flowers and plants which are starting to bloom. This is a good time to create a small altar at home, to pay tribute to Mary. Evening Prayer is celebrated in the evening when the day is drawing to a close, so that 'we may give thanks for what has been given us during the day, or for the things we have done during it'. St. Padre Pio Tridum takes place in the Church of the Holy Redeemer on: ![]() Monday 21st May: Mass 7.30pm. Tuesday 22nd May: Mass and Anointing of the Sick 7.30pm. Wednesday 23rd May: Mass & Benediction 7.30pm Rosary at 7.10pm & Blessing with relic after Mass each evening. All are welcome. St. Pio pray for us. Adult Catechesis with the neocatechumante community: Can I be happy in midst of difficulties? Is there an answer to hardships in my life? Where is my life going? Many of us can find no real answers. Come and listen to Adult Catechesis. Tuesdays & Thursdays at 8pm in Redeemer Resource Centre. This is an oppurtunity not to be missed.
Little Flower Prayer Group: Meeting each Wednesday morning at 11.00am in the Church. All are welcome. ![]() Therese of Lisieux is one of the patron saints of the missions, not because she ever went anywhere, but because of her special love of the missions, and the prayers and letters she gave in support of missionaries. This is reminder to all of us who feel we can do nothing, that it is the little things that keep God's kingdom growing. Holy Hour and chaplet from 3.00pm.
